Young Living Compensation Plan

The Young Living compensation plan is designed to incentivize members to not only sell products but also recruit new members into their downline. Here's how it generally works:

Young Living's sales compensation plan follows a three-level approach designed to guide you in strategically building your business, progressing to higher levels, and earning compensation as you advance.

  • Establishing a Solid Foundation

Every successful business begins with a strong foundation.

  • Expanding Your Business

Once you've experienced the benefits of Young Living’s products and shared them, you're prepared to extend that experience to others. Expand your foundation by inviting others to join your team and achieving collective success.

  • Nurturing Leaders

With a thriving business and a dedication to promoting wellness through Young Living, you're poised to extend the company’s mission globally by empowering others to achieve success and thereby earning commissions along the way.

However, before you dive in to understand the detailed compensation structure, it is imperative that you understand these terms:

  • Sales Organization and Structure

    • Sales Organization: Also known as a downline, this refers to all members below a particular Young Living distributor, including the distributor and all levels within their organization.

    • Level: It indicates the position of a Young Living distributor within a sales organization. The first level includes distributors directly sponsored by another distributor, and subsequent levels include distributors sponsored by those on the previous level.

    • Enroller: The person who introduces a new distributor to Young Living.

    • Sponsor: A distributor's direct upline and primary support, who may also be the enroller.

    • Upline: Any distributor positioned above another distributor in a sales organization.

  • Inactive and Dropped Accounts

    • Inactive Account: A distributor who fails to accumulate 50 PV in a calendar month is considered inactive and won't qualify for certain payouts. 100 PV is required for most commissions.

    • Dropped Account: Distributors must make a purchase every 12 months to avoid account termination. If dropped for inactivity, the distributor loses rights to their previous sales organization, which rolls up to the next qualified distributor.

  • Commission Period and Volume

    • Commission Period: Runs from the first to the last day of a calendar month. Qualifications and payouts are based on monthly achievements.

    • Personal Volume (PV): The volume of products purchased, accumulating throughout each commission period and essential for ranking within the Compensation Plan.

    • Organization Group Volume (OGV): The total sales volume of a sales organization, calculated by adding the PV of all distributors and customers.

    • Personal Group Volume (PGV): For higher ranks, it includes sales volume directly supported by the distributor.

  • Bonuses and Commissions

    • Retail Earnings: Members can earn retail profits by purchasing products at wholesale prices and selling them at retail prices.

    • Unilevel: Members earn commissions based on the purchases made by their downline (i.e., members they've recruited and their recruits). The commissions are typically calculated as a percentage of the sales volume generated by the downline.

    • Compression: Combining the volume of inactive distributors with active ones to maximize compensation.

    • Personal Generation Commissions: Paid on the sales organization between the distributor and the first Silver rank.

    • Generation Commissions: Paid on additional generations within the sales organization.

    • Starter Kit Bonuses: Cash bonus paid to enrollers for each new distributor who purchases a Premium Starter Kit.

    • Generation Leadership Bonus: Rewards distributors with shares of the company’s monthly sales based on leadership ranks achieved and maintained.

    • Diamond Leadership Bonus: Allows top-ranking members to earn shares of company sales and share expertise through networking events.

  • Young Living Commission Plan Rank Qualifications

    • Star to Royal Crown Diamond: Qualifications for various ranks based on personal volume, organization group volume, and leg requirements within a commission period. Each rank offers different commission structures and bonuses.
