Custom Commission Logic and Business-Specific Features
During the initial discovery meeting, the client outlined a set of business-specific features that needed to be built into the platform, including:
Qualified and Non-Qualified Agent Structures
The system had to support two agent types. Agents earning above 65% commissions were referred to as qualified managers, whereas agents below 65% were referred to as non-qualified managers.
Flexible Commission Percentage Control
A default commission rate of 30% was to be applied across the network. However, admins could modify commission percentages for each new agent. Also, the rank titles of the agents needed to be based on their commission percentages.
Multiple Commission Types in One Framework
The platform had to support three commission types: personal commissions, spread difference commissions, and qualified generation overrides. These should work flawlessly together within a single, rules-driven calculation engine.
Admin Controls and Agent KPIs
Admins could change the sponsor IDs of agents when required. Also, the client wanted a dedicated Scoreboards tab that contained agent-related performance metrics like direct recruitment rankings, team recruitment rankings, and more.
Admin-Controlled Multi-Level Commission Eligibility
Admins controlled whether an agent was eligible for multilevel commissions. When enabled, commission flowed to eligible uplines across 12 defined levels.
Documentation Management
The client wanted a dedicated tab for document access. Admin-uploaded files had to be organized in one tab, giving agents easy and consistent access to required materials.

The proposed system combined registration, agreement signing, and document submission into a guided onboarding flow with built-in compliance checks.
Bulk Commissions Processing via CSV Uploads
The team proposed a CSV upload feature that generated multiple commission transactions at once. However, these transactions would be processed only after admin approval.
Integrated Commission and Payments
The team further proposed integrations such as Brevo, which supported email automation, and Stripe, which enabled E & O certificate purchasing.
