Powering Scalable Growth for NextHome
See how Global MLM Solution built a streamlined platform for NextHome, bringing property sales, agent networks, and revenue share in one structured MLM system.
A Real Estate Network Built on Structured Revenue Sharing
NextHome is a U.S. based real estate franchise operating through independently owned offices nationwide. The brand supports a growing network of agents and broker-owners under a unified national identity.
Project Scope: Design and implementation of a centralized digital platform to manage agent networks, real estate transactions, and structured revenue share logic within the NextHome model.
Integrations
The Challenge
Implementing Revenue Share and Transaction-linked Commissions
NextHome handles its agent transactions through SkySlope. The core challenge was to connect this data with a structured revenue share system:
Integration with Skyslope
The platform had to be integrated seamlessly with Skyslope. Transaction data needed to sync automatically to ensure the agents receive accurate commissions.
Complex Revenue Share Logic
There was a need for a system that would be capable of configuring and managing multi-level revenue share rules. Each transaction from Skyslope had to trigger accurate percentage allocations based on predefined business rules.
Franchise Fee Mode Handling
The client wanted to further introduce the Franchise model at 6% within the revenue share framework, with a different set of rules.
Flexible Agent Joining Structure
The system had to support both free and franchise-fee-based onboarding. Furthermore, different revenue share conditions had to apply depending on how an agent joined the network.
Project Goals
Defining a Reliable Revenue Share and
Commission Framework
The client aimed to formalize its revenue share structure with a unified system. The following project goals were outlined during the discovery call.
Seamless Agent Registration Flow
Create a simple onboarding process for both free and paid joining options. The system should automatically assign the correct revenue share conditions based on the selected plan.
Accurate Stripe Payment Processing
Integrate Stripe to securely charge franchise fees, recurring every month, and ensure reliable payment confirmation during agent registration.
Reliable SkySlope Transaction Imports
Enable accurate and consistent import of verified transaction data from SkySlope to trigger commission calculations.
Plan-Based Commission Allocation
Configure the system to credit commissions correctly based on the agent’s selected joining model.
Dynamic Revenue Share Upgrades
Sometimes, the admin adjusts an agent’s revenue share from 80:20 to 70:30, restoring it to 80:20 once the agent meets eligibility criteria such as maintaining three active downline agents or completing ten transactions.
Capping Logic
Implement a commission cap of $20,000. Once the agent reaches the cap, a fixed post-capping amount of $200 should be deducted from subsequent commissions.
The Solution
End-to-End Implementation of Revenue Share, Onboarding, and Commission Logic
After analyzing NextHome’s business model, the Global MLM Solution team proposed a structured approach to implement the requirements within a single controlled eco-system.
Flexible Agent Joining Architecture
The team designed a dual onboarding structure that supported both paid registration and free joining through the franchise model. Agents selecting the franchise option were granted lifetime access to the MLM platform without the Stripe recurring subscription fee renewal.
Defined Franchise Model Commission Logic
A clear calculation framework was proposed, where 6% is deducted from the total commission first. From the remaining balance, 70% is credited as the agent’s primary commission to ensure accurate and rule-based earnings distribution.
Admin-Controlled Plan Configuration
The solution included dashboard-level controls that allowed admins to allocate agents to either of the revenue share models. Additionally, the system was also planned to include the franchise fee agent registration.
Automated Eligibility Tracking
The team implemented logic to track qualification criteria, such as maintaining three active downlines or completing ten transactions. Once an agent meets either of these criteria, the admin can then upgrade the agent from the 70:30 to the 80:20 revenue share model.
SkySlope Transaction Integration
The team also planned structured integration with SkySlope. Only verified transactions from imported data were used for commission calculations.
Commission Capping and Post-Cap Controls
The platform was configured with automated capping at $20,000. After the cap is reached, a fixed post-cap deduction of $200 is applied to subsequent commissions, in line with defined business rules.
Strategy and Execution
A Collaborative and Structured Rollout
The Global MLM Solutions team approached the project with a clear execution plan and close client collaboration. The goal was to turn the client's requirements into a practical, reliable system.
Agile Sprint-based Development
The project followed an agile approach, broken into focused sprints. Each sprint addressed a specific component, such as onboarding, revenue share logic, or transaction imports.
Clear Requirement Planning
All work was planned around the business rules shared by the client. Revenue splits, franchise fee deductions, capping thresholds, and upgrade conditions were defined before implementation began.
Regular Stand-up Calls and Discussions
The team stayed in constant touch with the client through regular stand-ups and working sessions. These conversations ensured alignment and helped resolve questions quickly.
Continuous Feedback and Adjustments
Feedback was collected at every stage. The team refined logic, flows, and calculations based on client input to ensure the system reflected real operational needs.
Integrated System Development
Commission logic and integration with SkySlope were built in parallel. This ensured that verified transactions flowed directly into accurate commission calculations.
Testing and Final Validation
Before launch, multiple real-world scenarios were tested, including plan upgrades, franchise deductions, and commission caps. This step ensured that the final solution was stable, accurate, and ready to scale.
The Results
A Stable and Scalable Revenue Share System
With the new framework in place, NextHome gained better control over revenue share operations, transaction tracking, and commission accuracy across its growing agent network.
